Congratulations NY Giants!

What a game! All of us at Candystand.com send our congratulations to all of our friends at the New York Giants for an amazing Super Bowl win.

You may not know, but the Candystand.com team is pretty equally split between being located in New York City and Boston. So, you can imagine how many bragging rights were on the line last night. The good news is that I'm from New York and am a life-long Giants fan... so, I plan to brag a whole lot today!

Congratulations to this year's very deserving champs, the New York Giants!

Eat lots of Turkey

You're not going to see much new here on the blog until next week due to the Thanksgiving holiday in the US, but we ARE busy! Here's a rundown of what's coming in December.

- Two new racing games (Stock Cars and Open Wheel)
- A super, top-secret Facebook game
- A Vector TDx tournament

And... if you think we produced some good games in 2007, wait until you hear what we've got in store for 2008. It's gonna rock!

New Billiards

Over the weekend, hundreds of you provided feedback on the new versions of our classic games, particularly Billiards. We're thrilled that so many of you are happy with the upgrades -- the games are definitely getting there.

A huge "thank-you" to those of you who have made suggestions for improvement. Our game developers are presently hard at work to incorporate many of them into the next release of the games. As we release updated versions of these new games, we'll post them here on the blog immediately. Expect some updates VERY soon!

This guy rules at 'Round the World

One of our loyal users (Tom) has become quite good at 'Round the World. So good, in fact, that he's decided to upload a video of himself shredding the game to YouTube. It's a bit on the long side, but definitely humbling!

Lots of news from Candystand.com

It's been a big news day for us, today!

First off, we have finally launched Polarity. While it is certainly not the easiest game, I think you'll agree that it is one of our best. Make sure to read the instructions and give it a shot -- you won't be disappointed.

Today also marked the launch of a new sub-site of Candystand.com... this one, made specially for your Wii. Log on to wii.candystand.com from your Wii's Internet Channel and you'll find some of your favorite Candystand.com and Altoids.com games, formatted perfectly for your TV screen.

The news will continue to come! In addition to Spherez in a couple of weeks, we'll be filling you in on some "top secret" programs -- including a sequel of one of the most popular games ever on the web, coming exclusively to Candystand.com!
