First Look: Extra Jetpack Adventure

Lots of good stuff happening at Candystand.com these days. Later this week, our Beta testers will start playing Mini Putt Adventure. We are doing EVERYTHING we can to put this game in your hands before Thanksgiving. Keep your fingers crossed!

I'm really excited about Extra Jetpack Adventure. The visuals are coming together really nicely and the game-play is... well... let's just say that it is a bit addictive!

The game pits you as Origummy, the lovable, long-lasting icon of the Extra Gum brand. Origummy's girlfriend has been kidnapped and it's up to you to help him find her. Here are some images -- look for a video on YouTube soon!

Monster Trucks Unleashed: HD Video

I know you guys dig Monster Trucks Unleashed as much as I do. So, just a quick post for today. We found this video in our archives which was inspired by the game... Check it out, it's very cool!

Sure, we've been spending a lot of time talking about GT Racing and Mini Putt, but we've got a whole lot more planned for the next few weeks and months. Here's what we've got planned:

Orbit SpheerZ: A highly stylized 3D marble-maze game

Extra Jetpack Adventure: A side-scrolling adventure game in which you'll guide the Extra "Origummy" character to save his girlfriend

Titans Paintball: Save the universe with your paintball gun in this side-scrolling adventure.

Total Eclipse - The Game: A classic arcade-style top-down space shooter.

You can rest assured that you'll see screens and gameplay video here on the blog soon. We'll kick things off with a full preview of Extra Jetpack Adventure next week.

Okay, GT is out and here's your first look at our new Mini Putt game. This isn't your classic Candystand Mini Golf... wouldn't you agree?

First Play Exclusive: Candystand GT Racing

Well, guys, the wait is officially... finally... over! While Candystand GT Racing will not launch officially until tomorrow, I thought you all might like a chance to play it first! We've spent months tweaking and testing this game and I hope you agree that the final product is pretty darn fun. Special thanks to all of our Beta testers for all of their help!

Couple of things to mention:

1) This game also uses the Virtools 3D Life Player. If you have any installation problems, go to http://player.virtools.com

2) The first time you play this game, the download will be a bit longer. We're doing this so that future load times will be much, much shorter. If you have any problems, let me know.

3) You need to log-in/register to play in career mode. This is simply to ensure that we accurately track your progress.
