New Release: BridgeCraft

Every once-in-a-while, a new game comes along and keeps you gripped for hours.  Well, for the last several months one of our in-development games has done just that to the entire Candystand.com team.  Today, we're very proud to launch that very game, BridgeCraft.

At it's core, BridgeCraft is incredibly simple.  You're given three items: bridge sections, steel beams and tension wire.  All you need to do is build a bridge from one side of a river to another to help the character across.  Not unlike Electric Box, each succeeding level becomes more and more challenging.  As you get deep into the game (Level 30 and after), the levels are downright maddening -- but make us love the game even more.

Our hats are off to our development partners at Picaso Games who worked extremely closely with our own internal game team to make what we think is one of the most unique games on the web.  Give BridgeCraft a try today, we don't think you'll be disappointed.

Please shoot us a note by emailing us or messaging us @candystand on Twitter and let us know what you think of BridgeCraft.  Also, keep your eye on this blog for news and information about walkthroughs and strategy guides.

In the game, you guide your tank between giant bubbles where your goal is to destroying enemy bubble tanks and absorb their "bubbles" which, in turn, help to grow your tank. As your tank grows, you have an opportunity to choose from several upgrades which come complete with bigger and better weapons. If you play it right, you'll have to face the ultimate bubble tank and if you destroy it, you win the game.

New Release: Pro Skeet Shooting

This week's release is Pro Skeet Shooting. If you aren't familiar with Skeet Shooting, the rules are pretty simple. Skeets (Clay pigeon) are thrown in the air and you have to shoot as many as you can within the time limit. In the later rounds, we change it up a bit with special skeets in the mix that will keep you on your toes.

We were challenged in the making of Pro Skeet Shooting, in terms of what size to make the skeets. If we made the skeets too big this would make the targets too easy and offer the players little to no challenge. On the other hand, we could've made the skeet unrealistically small but then they would be next to impossible to hit. While this would increase the challenge it turned out not to be so fun. In the end I think we found a nice in-between, the current skeets are big enough to hit but small enough to offer some challenge. The final product is really fun and we hope you enjoy it.
