Double Edged - New Game With an Ancient Twist

Well, folks, Double Edged is up and swinging on Candystand.com, and I strongly encourage all of you to go check it out. Right now. Not joking. The game is super fun to play and looks like a cross between the Genesis classic "Golden Axe" and a parade of bobble-head dolls. I know, it sounds absurd, and don't you worry -- it is.

You play as a Spartan hero with a comically large helmet, tiny little arms, and a big sword. Mow your way through hordes of soldiers, undead, and monsters on your way to a great victories against such classic mythological characters as minotaurs, King Midas, and even a cyclops. As you chug along in your quest, you can pick up awesome new weapons, chuck rocks at your enemies, and even ride a tiger. Yup, you heard me: ride a tiger.

I see your sword and raise you a TIGER!

The game also comes with a great sense of humor, so don't be surprised if in the course of hacking and slashing, you get some genuine lols.

Double Awesome, Double Sweet, and Double Fun -- and, oh by the way, it's multiplayer -- check this game out in the name of SPARTAAAAAAAAAA!!!

That huge buried statue can't be bad...right?

Oh, snap.
